We see the only bit of trouble beyond Will and the balloons that any teams have encountered this leg when the carts of ice keep falling over. Not sure why the show allows them to carry over the broken segments of ice. Why not make the teams start over if their cart falls and their ice breaks all apart? This whole leg was a little too low-key, if you ask me. Make them start over and you’ll get more entertaining fighting between the partners!
Gary reads the clue and says make your way to “Wijaya Motors.” But he read it like “Ouija.” (Pronounced “weejee” for all of Lexi and Trey’s relatives out there). This must be like one of those places over here where they break the Ouija board out to see which mechanic work they should offer you that you don’t need to jack up your bill. Anyway, Will and Gary make their way over to the Ice task. Gary spins around and Will gets hit in the head with the big ice block because he’s so short and Gary’s so tall. Looked like a “Three Stooges” skit for a second there and I liked it! If Will had kicked Gary in the nuts over it, I would have given the skit a full five stars.
Back to Amy and Daniel and they seem to be way behind. Amy says that she is hoping that someone else has had as hard as a time as they’ve had. Uh, no other lost legs / missing spleens in the bunch from what I can tell. You’ve won that contest yet again, Amy. I was hoping she and Daniel could catch up and stay in the Race, but it was not looking good at this point.
And, the teams are already getting the clue to the pit stop. Honestly, this week kind of sucked. It was really full of a bunch of dumb and pretty easy tasks. Even the pit stop appeared to be right outside the door to that fish market. Who came up with this week’s tasks – a bunch of kindergarteners? On second thought, that’s not that far fetched based on what we saw here. At least make the teams try to find some other random location for the pit stop to add a little more challenge to it!
Pit stop Order:
1. Natalie and Nadiya – Earn an Express Pass.
2. Lexi and Trey (That’s what I get for saying these four would suck). Trey says “If Natalie and Nadiya had to be first, we’re super glad it was them!” Tool.
3. Jaymes and James
4. Abbie and Ryan
5. Josh and Brent
6. James and Abba
7. Caitlin and Brittany
8. Rob and Kelley (What a DICK! “Right here!” he screams at Kelley at the top of his lungs like an angry crazy person while pointing to the pit stop mat. Never seen that whole “red face/ steam coming out of the ears” thing outside of “The Flintstones” before now).
9. Gary and Will (Will dancing around and chanting “We’re going all the way!!!” Uh, reality check, you finished second to last.
10. Amy and Daniel (Eliminated). If anyone in this bunch should win 1 million, shouldn’t it be this chick? I guess God doesn’t bother intervening in football or reality TV after all.
Moral of this story this week: Amy has run out of legs.
Have a great week!

I really did feel for those with lousy cab drivers – I know it happens every season, but still . . . I wish it had been a non-elimination round because Amy and Daniel seemed like a nice couple.
Monster truck guy seems like a real jerk!!
And the “I’m not even going to run” guy – You are on the Amazing Race – what an incredible opportunity! One that you supposedly tried out for like 7 times or something (didn’t they say that the 1st show???). I can’t believe you wouldn’t give it 100% until the very end! And seriously – the tasks did not seem that difficult!
The twins were annoying the 1st show, but are growing on me. And I know the Texas couple might seem naive, but they do appear to be really nice people . . . so far.
This episode was a real yawn with respect to the “tasks” required of the contestants.
Sorry, but sitting on the back of a motorbike just doesn’t require any skill or stamina whatsoever. And the balloon competition – ok, despite the obvious nod to sexual hand movements, it was a rather limp (<— see what I did there?) challenge.
As for lousy cab drivers … @ rsanon, that's part of the Race! Some contestants (past and present) know when and where to dump their "drivers" and move on to someone else. Others just whine and cry and say ignorant things like "You just made me lose a million dollars!"
Thanks! I am glad to see it was not just me thinking this stuff.
